Well, I'm kinda new at the blog thing, but here goes.

Me and my 3 1/2 yr old son were in Pets Unlimited, just looking one day, when he started to show a particular interest in the Iguanas. Well, I have always wanted one myself, so it was a good pet/hobby for us to share.

We've had him  ( I think "him"), for about a year. My l'il guy named him T-Rex (Rex, 4 short). Unfortunately, I was badly educated by the clerk, but have since done some research online. Everything has been good, but the taming process. I've found some new info, and things are going better, he's now making daily progress.

So, for Easter, we discussed a ball python, but he said he'd like to have another iguana, a friend for Rex... Well, I didn't think Rex would take well to a roommate, so I ended up surprising  him with a Chinese Water Dragon instead.  It worked out well, because we had just moved Rex from his old 20 gallon tank, into an old display case, which is a great changeover.   So, now the new guy ( i think "guy"), he named Tails, is in his old tank. Still learning things about them, so any info is appreciated. We definitely plan to add to  our collection, same & other types.
