CAECILIAN WORM (Rubber eel, Rubber worm) Typhlonectes natans

  • RATING: intermediate
  • FOOD: brine shrimp, krill, insect larvae, earth or red worms, pellet fish or turtle food
  • WATER: Underground filter, Change water regularly
  • DAY TEMP: 74 - 78 F 23 - 25.5 c)
  • NIGHT TEMP: 70 F (21 c)
  • LIGHTING: Indirect lighting
  • SUBSTRATE: Likes mud, 50/50 aqua-terrarium. Potting soil with moss on top or gravel with moss on top for land half
  • NOTES: Tropical, burrowing, 5-14 inches, 1/4 to 1 inch diam. Semi-aquatic, lifespan- 5-20 years, live bearer
