Reptile Logic is a NEW WEBSITE! Lets call it a celebration of Tricia's Water dragon page (and mailing list) being 10 YEARS OLD. (December 29th is 10 years!)

     Reptile Logic is almost ready for full public use. I've built the site as a half community website, half reptile and amphibian information site (hence the name - reptile logic).

     Reptile Logic will have informative articles about the care of various species of reptiles and amphibians, as well as general health and FAQ articles. Registered users CAN contribute useful information to the site in the form of care sheets, tips, FAQ's etc.

 Registered users may also:

• Create their own BLOG (non-herp related articles may be removed!)
• Create their own photo album in the GALLERY section (for now 1 megabyte max per user- so no huge pics!)
• Contribute useful and valuable herp related info to the website
• Blogs, gallery albums and contributions to the site will all be entered under your chosen user name.
• Site visitors can rate articles, blogs and pictures
• Registered users can comment on articles, blogs and photos
• I think I set it up so that registered users can create polls as well (herp related please!)

      I would love to invite visitors to the site to take it for a test run. Please let me know how you like the site either by posting comments on the page, or sending me an email through the site contact form.

     Remember I've been working on this site on an off for the last month or so ... but I've been working on the behind the scenes stuff- getting the modules etc to work properly. I'm running the site with Joomla CMS and there are still Joomla newsflash articles on the site ... I've just started adding content to the site and I will hopefully be adding quite a bit more of the next week.

     The site is live so it's being visited by the search engines ... but before I start announcing it to the herp world I want to make sure it's FUNCTIONAL and that it has some content. Registered members can help me make sure it's functioning correctly, and that it has content by creating blogs, adding photo's to the gallery and contributing care sheets or articles to the site.

     Remember I'm still working on the site so the look and feel of the site will change a bit over the next while as I add templates logo's and pictures. (I'd like for users to be able to choose their own look for the site, and their own language as well).

    Reptile Logic is meant to be a reptile and amphibian (Herp) related site ... so if you have Herps as pets please feel free to discuss them, post pics of them and contribute articles about them to the site. :)
