     Did you know that if you become a FREE registered member of Reptile Logic you can become a site contributer?  Once you log into your account your "user Menu" will be available to you in the middle left hand side of the screen.   Click on the "SUBMIT NEWS" button and you can write an article, a care sheet or some care tips for the site.   When I see you new items I'll place your article in the correct section and you will receive credit as the author of your submission.

Green Anole Anolis carolinensis 

  • RATING: Novice/beginner 
  • FOOD: crickets, spiders, earthworms, flies, banana, oranges, greens, collards or kale
  • WATER: Daily misting (licks moisture from leaves) and or drip system, shallow water dish 
  • DAY TEMP: 25 - 30 C 77 - 86 F  
  • NIGHT TEMP: 18 - 23 C 65 - 74 F  
  • LIGHTING: Incandescent bulbs and UVB fluorescent  
  • SUBSTRATE: course gravel covered with mix of sand and peat ... 
  • NOTES: 6 - 8 " long, active, 20 + gallon tank with secure lid
    for up to 4 anoles, branches and plants for shelter and climbing
