Well, it has been quite some time since I have been able to write my blog. It is ALL boneheads’ fault. First she got sick over this thing called Christmas. Then she was busy. Then she just forgot. She has sooooo many excuses! So I have now tied her up and taken over the computer!

So to catch you up.....First, you can see my most recent picture! See how handsome I am? I am now 15 inches long from snout to tail and 5 inches long from snout to vent. STILL don't know how much I way. I feel like I should start bulking up a bit. It is hard for mom to take good pictures as I am still pretty slim. I just think she doesn't know how to take pictures. I was taking a stroll through her hair. I am really hoping she gets my other pics up soon.

So I had my very first thing called a Christmas as well as something called Yule. I really don't know what the difference was. Mom got out this big green tree that was rather hard. It was not at all Drake friendly. It tried to bite me. I snapped at it and ran away. Then mom and Sean put all this shiny stuff on it with little tiny suns that sparkled in different colors. I watched as they put these balls and trinkets on there too. While I didn't have too much fun with that festivity as they call it, those evil 4 legged's sure did! I don't know how it stayed standing. Mom has no IDEA all the things they did when she wasn't home. They knocked the balls off and played soccer with them and broke a few in the process. They also did sprint relays between the bedroom and the tree. It was crazy!

She also made what she called a village with snow, little tree's and little boneheads. It was nice and she let me run through the "streets" and I knocked stuff down. She called me Godzilla for some reason. Doesn't she know my name is Drake? Like I said...she is a bonehead.

She told me I had a Christmas present too! I had been betting it was my new home! Then Sean left for a long time and mom didn't take as good a care of me. She was really sick. I kind of felt bad for her as she seemed more sick than I had been when I came home to her. I think we missed Christmas. She was home a lot but didn't spend much time with me. I would say it made me sad but I didn't see her get off the couch much and she didn't even play much with the evil 4 legged's. She got better but I still didn't have my new house. I was getting very cramped in my 20 gallon house being that I was already 13.5 inches long!

Finally...the day arrived! She tricked me too. She waited until I was VERY sleepy and moved me. I was so scared at first! It was soooo big and my new Jacuzzi was enormous! She put my sleeping tree in there and I was tired so I went to sleep. I could explore the next day. There are some things I like about the new house and some things I don't like. It still seems too big. It is a 60 gallon house. There are all these vines in it but I don't know what to do with them. She keeps putting me on them and I just hang on. She is so odd. There is something in there she calls a hammock that sits underneath my sun that doesn't get warm. No clue what to do with that either. But one new feature that I TRULY love is my jetted Jacuzzi! The water moves and I like to get on top of the black thing and let my body drift. Feels sooooo good. Also, now that I am in this new house....I really enjoy eating more too!

So that is kind of a quick catch up. Be sure to come check me out next week when I tell you about how I figured out some of the amenities in my house, my first "swim" (more like a drowning!) as well as my second adventure with that. There are also the stories about her incessant desire to get me to eat that thing she calls a pinky! Plus much more!
