Hi, my name is Cindy, I just joined this site. I got a Chinese water dragon about a month ago. Keep in mind that I have never owned any kind of reptile in my life. About a week after I bought it, it's legs started to swell. I took it to the vet immediatly. She did an ex-ray on it and told me that it had a calcium deficiantcy. She showed me it's ex-ray and I could barely see it on the sheet. She gave me some calcium syrup, and told me to give it about a drop a day. Anyway about a week later, it's lips started to deteriate. I called my vet again and she told me that she thought it had mouth rot, and gave me some antibiotics. I guess my question is are my efforts in vain, or can I actually save this lizzard?
